Charity Fundraiser for the Williams Syndrome Foundation (June/July 2010)

Two of Corinium Stoves' employees have recently completed a 1,000 mile bike ride to raise funds for the Williams Syndrome Foundation. The bike ride started on 20th June in Barcelona, Spain, and finished on 3rd July in Edge, Gloucestershire to coincide with the village Fete on the green. In total there were 12 cyclists in the team, who  started in Barcelona and cycled via: Girona, Perpignan, Narbonne, Carcassonne, Toulouse, Agen, Bergerac, Angouleme, Poitiers, Angers, Alencon, Caen and Andover, with a short stop at Corinium Stoves in Cirencester before finishing in Edge.

You can still donate via: www.justgiving.com/BarcelonaEdgeBikeRide. All money raised goes directly to the Williams Syndrome Foundation and over £7,000.00 has been raised through this site alone so far. There is still a way to go however to reach the target of £25,000.00, so any donation, no matter how small, is very gratefully received.

Progress of the bike ride was documented daily with a diary, which you can read at: www.cyclogical.com.
