The Contura 35T is clad in soapstone, which is a natural material with excellent heat retaining properties. As the colour and marking of soapstone can vary, this means each stove is truly unique. The additional side panels mean flame views from a wider range of angles.

Combustion air is heated to extremely high temperatures and flushed out onto the inside of the glass, which prevents soot build up and helps the glass stay clear.

Heating efficiency is increased by the stove’s cleanburn technology, activated by sliding the control on the front of the stove to the left. This releases pre-heated combustion air into the stove, which burns off excess hydrocarbons in the smoke. This also results in cleaner emissions.

There are also a number of options available with the stove;

1. A fan can be fitted into the stove to improve convection and so distribute warm air quicker.
2. A heat tank in the top of the stove, which makes it possible to store heat for even heat distribution over a long period, up to 7 hours wiith the damper closed.
3. A choice of either a glass or soapstone top.
