The Contura 510 is a stove that boasts a number of impressive features. Combustion air is heated to extremely high temperatures and flushed out onto the inside of the glass, which prevents soot build up and helps the glass stay clear.

Heating efficiency is increased by the stove’s cleanburn technology, activated by sliding the control on the front of the stove to the left. This releases pre-heated combustion air into the stove, which burns off excess hydrocarbons in the smoke. This also results in cleaner emissions.

There are also a number of options available with the stove;
1. Black or grey stove body.
2. A range of materials for the top of the stove; cast iron, louvred steel and soapstone.
3. Instead of the log store you could opt for a covered plinth or a plinth drawer.
4. A turntable to allow the stove to rotate.
5. A hotplate can be fitted to the top of the stove.
6. A fan can be fitted into the stove to improve convection and so distribute warm air quicker.

When burning wood with a 20% moisture content or less, the stove is approved for use in Smoke Control Areas.
