The Contura 810 is a stove that boasts a number of impressive features. You are instantly drawn to the stove’s large glass window, for superior flame views from a range of angles. Combustion air is heated to extremely high temperatures and flushed out onto the inside of the glass, which prevents soot build up and helps the glass stay clear.

Heating efficiency is increased by the stove’s cleanburn technology, activated by sliding the control on the front of the stove to the left. This releases pre-heated combustion air into the stove, which burns off excess hydrocarbons in the smoke. This also results in cleaner emissions.

The Contura 810 has an effective convection system. This means as well as heat radiating from the body of the stove, it also draws in cool air from the room, heats it and releases it quickly back into the room as warm air.

There are also a number of options available with the stove;
1. Black or grey stove body.
2. A range of materials for the top of the stove; cast iron, steel, soapstone, black tinted glass (only for the black stove option) and stainless steel.
3. A wood compartment or soft close door underneath the firebox.
4. The option of a self closing door; when the stove door is released in an open position, it closes and locks automatically.
5. An optional outside air connection, meaning the stove would take its air from outside as opposed to the room.
